Although both our Marian shrines are lovely places to pray, you might find your best place to deepen your relationship with Jesus through daily prayer at home. Some people have a prayer corner or chair with a crucifix, religious picture, or icon nearby. Others carry their Bible out to the deck where they feel close to God through nature. Those who try to stay spiritually and physically fit could say the rosary while walking or jogging, while other busy people recite the rosary while driving.

If you filled out a Partnership Agreement commitment card last September, sealed it in a self-addressed envelope, and placed it in the sanctuary, you will soon receive it back in the mail. When you see your card again, you and your household can look back on the year and reflect on how you carried out your pledges. Talk about what you gained by commiting yourself to pray, grow, connect and serve. Also consider what you would like to do differently in the coming year. At Masses during the weekend of September 23, you will have the opportunity to renew your agreement with the parish.
