This past Sunday, May 1, Rev Michael Kirwin celebrated his 40th Anniversary of ordination to the priesthood of Jesus Christ at a Jubilee liturgy in Corpus Christi Church of our parish. Rev Mr Edwin Salva served as deacon and Rev Thomas Cappelloni was homilist for the 11:00 Mass. St John Vianney Choir, under the direction of Heather Clendenning and with John Olcese at the keyboard, led music. Fr Kirwin's sisters Suzanne O'Boyle and Jean Marie Decker were Readers and his niece Karen Tost read the Prayers of the Faithful. After Mass all were invited downstairs for a luncheon. As Sarah Marie and Joseph played music and Father's family and friends ate and visited, he made his way around the Parish Center greeting everyone.
