Please pray for good leadership for St John Vianney Parish. In addition to our pastor and permanent deacon, lay persons provide leadership. The Pastoral Council collaborates with Father Michael to carry out our mission. The Ministry Coordinating Commission organizes the many parish ministries and activities. The Finance Council oversees the parish’s financial health and budget. You can read a little more about each leadership body here.

These important works cannot be accomplished without committed lay people. Every spring we ask parishioners to nominate individuals to serve on the Parish Pastoral Council, the Ministry Coordinating Commission, and the Finance Council. The commitment to serve on the councils or commission is not small, but neither is it overly burdensome. All nominees will have an opportunity to learn more about what service involves and to discern how they are called to to servant leadership in our parish.
