In the summer of 2015 a few parents began working with Parish Pastoral Council members on how to increase our focus on the household as the primary place where faith formation takes place. This committeeconsidered what families want from the parish as well as what kind of commitment a household might be willing to make to the parish. The committee designed a 50-50 Partnership Agreement to make parish leaders more attuned to what our households need and to encourage all parishioners to take a direct role in living a Christian way of life and teaching others within the household to do so.
Our pastor shared his thoughts on partnership at all Pentecost Masses. The next day the 50-50 Partnership Agreement was mailed to all parish households and those of unregistered families with children in our religious education program. With it we sent a parish magnet so you can put your agreement on your refrigerator after you have talked over how you intend to carry out your part of the deal.
If you would like to share your thoughts on the agreement, use the
