On the November 19 weekend, the Thirty-third Sunday of Ordinary Time, Fr Kirwin preached on the gospel about the landlord who distributed coins to his servants to use while he was away. Father's main points were

• Make your life count for something.
• Use it or lose it.
• However small it might be, we are all part of God’s plan. God uses us to build his Kingdom. No good deed goes unnoticed.
• What we choose to do here on earth will have eternal consequences.
• Are you ruled by your fear or by your faith?
• Our lives are a gift to us. What we make of our life is our gift to God.
