Our new Religious Education Advisory Committee held its first meeting on April 18. The purpose of the committee is to serve as a liaison between parents and our parish religious education program. Responsibilities of committee members are to

• Seek input from parents
• Advise on the annual calendar, policies and handbook, potential program changes, parent notifications, etc.
• Assist with teacher recruitment
• Help resolve parent concerns.

Members of the committee are Susan Gesford, Theresa Micknick, Louise Ofcharskey, Brian Wagner, and Marion Yurgoskey. They anticipate meeting with our Director of Religious Education on the first Monday of every month.

Officers selected are: Theresa Micknick, Chairperson; Louise Ofcharskey, Vice-Chairperson; and Marion Yurgoskey, Secretary. Committee members are assisting with teacher recruitment and will help plan the summer Catholic Kidz Camp.
